Life Groups help people to develop authentic relationships with each other and God by sharing everyday life with those who live nearby, by discussing the weekend sermons at a deeper level, and by getting involved in practical ways in the community.
We offer many different Life Groups that meet in local homes across the Greater Toronto Area, or at the church.
Who is in my Life Group?
Each group typically consists of 8 to 12 people who live in a nearby neighbourhood. Groups are multi-generational, mixed gender, married couples, and singles, all from many different backgrounds. There are also some special interest groups, such as:
Who leads my group?
Each group has a leader who attends Rexdale Alliance Church and who has leadership gifts, spiritual maturity and a passion for caring for others in community.
When and where do we meet?
Each Life Group sets its own meeting time and place—usually 2 to 3 times per month in the home of someone who has agreed to be a host. Groups are most meaningful when everyone makes a commitment to meet regularly.
Life Groups can access sermon archives and Bible Study Guides which are uploaded on the website each week.
