Rexdale Alliance Church

Family Ministries

We partner with parents and caregivers to encourage our children to love Jesus, love each other and share the story of Jesus with kids in the community as opportunities arise. Our new curriculum is Gospel Project which highlights the scriptural depth as we were accustomed to in Children Desiring God. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events - presnting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before.  Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.

We work with parents and caregivers to immerse children in scripture. The early years of a child’s life are foundational for shaping their knowledge and understanding of the character and attributes of God. We teach children how to pray, worship through song, and support the work of the Church by practicing stewardship – all with the goal of producing spiritual champions for the next generation.

Spiritual Champions:

  • Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
  • Accept the Bible as truth, a guide to life
  • Study and learn about the Bible to know, love and serve God
  • Believe in moral absolutes
  • Believe that he/she has been created to serve and honour God in specific ways
  • Believe his/her life should reflect characteristics of Christ
  • Participate in Christian community
  • Practise stewardship with their resources (talent, time, money)
  • Commit to an attitude of prayer that is a meaningful part of their daily life
  • Engage with our International Workers and their children through prayers and support

Safety is of outmost priority

We provide a safe and secure environment for our children through an electronic check-in system. All workers are screened and have successfully completed the Rexdale Alliance Safe Church Certification program.

We enforce a strictly peanut-free environment and all allergy alerts are displayed on the name badge that is worn by the child upon check-in.

Our children are encouraged and engaged to take an active role in both local and global mission work.
