FAMILY MINISTRIES

Family Ministries
Volunteer positions are available during Sunday morning worship with flexible hours.

We need:

Sunday School Teachers/Assistants⮟

Lead a short time of kids worship, running any necessary tech such as audio/graphics/lyrics, etc.


Prayer Team⮟

Pre-service or mid-week prayer with the team and other children's ministry volunteers


Online Teaching/Support⮟

Running Zoom Sunday School


Social Media Manager⮟

Helping to create/maintain an engaging social media presence for parents and families via Instagram, Facebook, etc.

Sunday School Worship Team⮟

Lead a short time of kids worship, running any necessary tech such as audio/graphics/lyrics, etc.


Nursery Workers⮟

Caring for little ones from 0-2yrs


Check-In Attendants⮟

Welcome families and assist them with registering for children's programs using the ipads/laptop, printing name tags, attendance reports, etc.


Toy washing/sanitizing⮟

Cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment after services or during the week

Special Events Team⮟

Set up/tear down, helping to organize/run events such as Harvest Party, Advent Party, Christmas Program, Missions Week events, etc.


Social Media Manager⮟

Helping to create/maintain an engaging social media presence for parents and families via Instagram, Facebook, etc.

Resource Room Coordinators⮟

Collecting supplies used in classrooms for proper storage, keeping the Resource Room organized, etc.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Youth Ministries
Our youth include middle school and high school students. Gatherings currently alternate Friday evenings.

We need:
• Youth ministry coordinators
• Event and games planners
• Youth leaders (male & female)

MUSICAL WORSHIP

Musical Worship
Musicians are welcome to join at anytime during the ministry year. The commitment involves one week per month, including evening rehearsal and Sunday morning.

We need:

• Singers
• Bassists
• Guitarists (electric & acoustic)

• Keyboardists
• Pianists
• Drummers

Technical Worship
The AV Team is a very crucial member of our Sunday services. This team is responsible for the many tasks that allow worship, announcements, and sermons to go smoothly. Training is provided for these opportunities!

The integration team is an important part of how we host services. Their friendly and welcoming nature help people feel comfortable and welcome.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Look through the list of opportunities, decide what ministry you want to volunteer with (as the Lord leads you and based on your skills) and click on the contact us button. You will be sent to a form to fill out basic information and someone will be in contact with you in a few days. Please note that all volunteers will need to fill out a ministry form and may be required to complete our safe church training and a police check

How do I volunteer with kids/students?

It's the same general process, but you will have to email the family ministries team to express interest rather than fill out a form, so when you click the "contact us" button it will send you to your preferred email site.  Please note that to volunteer with kids and students you will have to go through our safe church training and be cleared through a vulnerable sector police check.
