DISCIPLESHIP AND MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Harvest Party
Our Community Harvest Party is a little over a week away on Oct 31 from 6-8:30 PM here at RAC. Don't forget to register your children for this event HERE! Thanks to everyone who has generously donated candy and signed up to volunteer at the event so far. We still need help in the following ways to make it happen! You still can help by:
Volunteering: Please visit our volunteer sign-up sheet HERE to view and sign up for our many Harvest Party volunteer opportunities. Note: Community service hours many be earned by high school student volunteers!
Donating Nut-Free Chips/Chocolate/Candy: Look for the colorful bins at the entrances of the church to drop off donations of nut-free candy/chocolate/chips. We are hoping to fill 200 loot bags!
Giving Monetary Donations: Find information for sponsoring the event with a monetary donation at www.rexdalealliance.ca.
RexMen Breakfast this Saturday Morning
All men are invited to the monthly RexMen Breakfast on Oct 22 from 8-9:30 AM at RAC! Come bright and early for good conversation and a meal together. The cost is only $5. Please REGISTER so we can expect you!
Young Adults Social Gathering this Saturday
We are having a cozy, social gathering with autumnal snacks, beverages and board games this Sat, Oct 22 from 7-9PM in the Fireside Lounge! See you there! Be sure to follow us on Instagram for updates, too: @rexdaleyoungadults.
Membership Class
Consider becoming a member at Rexdale! There will be a membership class on Wed, Oct 26 from 7:30-9p.m. over Zoom. Learn about our mission, vision and core values and how we can grow strong together! Please register beforehand with Cheryl Guinness: cguinness@rexdalealliance.ca and she will provide you with details to join the class.
Life Groups
Life groups are small gatherings of 6-12 people to build community and grow together in faith. Please consider joining one! To view our current life group opportunities or sign up for one, visit our updated Life Groups Webpage. Please contact cguinness@rexdalealliance.ca for more information.
Women's Bible Study
There will be a Women’s Bible Study on Gideon, by Priscilla Shier. The study is hosted on Zoom by Ruth Cairns and begins Monday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. There are open spots for 3-4 women. Workbooks are $15 and may be ordered on Amazon. Please contact: ruthcairns93@gmail.com if you have any questions.
The Praxis will be starting again soon
The Praxis, a group of apprentices of Jesus who want to practice spiritual transformation into Christlikeness together, will meet on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am in the Fireside Chapel, beginning November 13! We will have coffee and muffins, too! We'd love to have you join us. Hosted by Lynnette Missiuna.

Introducing the What's Op blog! It’s a place to get news, updates, and other information from what we call the “Operations” side of RAC. 'Operations' are areas that support the ministries of the church such as administration, facilities and finance. SERVICE AND PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES
Sunday ServiceJoin us this Sunday for our morning service. This Sunday is 'Vision Sunday'. We will be hearing a message from Pastor TJ who will be sharing the vision for who we believe God is calling our church to be and where He is leading us!
