Youth Change Conference Watch Party Tonight
Friday, February 24, 7-9 pm, Church Auditorium
Youth and workers are having a watch party this Friday, February 24 for the Youth Change Conference. Invite a friend or 10 and come enjoy this event with phenomenal speakers and music. There will be treats and prizes too. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome. Find more information at www.changeconference.com. See you at the party! (As usual, Youth happens from 7-9 pm on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month!)

The Praxis

Thanks to everyone who attended the Connected & Protected Webinar Workshop on February 1. Many expressed an interest in diving deeper into this topic, so we will be hosting a second workshop! Join us for Connected & Protected Part 2, where we will be furthering our discussion and exploring how to better prepare our children with practical solutions so that you and your family might feel prepared, balanced, and protected online. Rexmen Dinner & Fellowship
Monday, March 6, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Rexdale Alliance Church
Please join us for our monthly RexMen dinner. All men are welcome to take part in the fun, food and fellowship. We will be hearing a special message from Maurice Gillard who is a home grown product of Rexdale Alliance Church. He attended with his parents for about fifteen years, and participated in the children's and youth programs, eventually serving as a youth leader until he left for Bible College in Regina. After graduating he served in several churches, and he recently retired from Westburne Alliance Church in St. Catharines, ON. He is currently serving in a leadership role at Hockey Outreach, Ontario. Women's Bible Study

We are beginning a new women’s Bible study on "Live No Lies" by John Mark Comer. The cost is $25 for a book. “Live No Lies is a brilliant, deep, scriptural, and will equip you to face the enemy and fight.”―Jennie Allen. Ancient apprentices of Jesus developed a paradigm for this war; they spoke of the three enemies of the soul: the devil, the flesh, and the world. John Mark Comer combines cultural analysis with spiritual formation. He identifies the role lies play in our spiritual deformation and lays out a strategic plan to overcome them. Soul Care Conference with Dr. Rob Reimer is happening at Wellspring Alliance Church. Explore Biblical tools for personal & corporate renewal: securing your identity, repentance, breaking family sin patterns, forgiving others, healing wounds, overcoming fears and deliverance. Wonderfully Made Dress Drive
Collecting Dresses until March 19 (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm; Sundays 9 am - 12 pm), Lobby or Church Office
"Wonderfully Made" Dress Drive is part of an initiative in collaboration with our Young Adults Ministry, where we are collecting dresses of all sizes, jewelry, and accessories that will be gifted to young women in our community to help them prepare for prom, weddings, or other special occasions. Do you have some gently used special-occasion dresses, accessories, or costume jewelry you won't wear again? Would you like to be a part of helping young women? Then please consider helping with this opportunity! (The dress/accessories giveaway for young women will take place on Saturday, April 1). Donations can be left with office staff during the week, or on Sundays with Ruby Isaac, Marilyn Spagnolo, Theresa Catania, or Solange Werners. For further inquiries, email church@rexdalealliance.ca.

Memorial Service for Marjorie Beaver
The family and friends of Marjorie Beaver are grieving her homegoing. There will be a memorial service at Wards Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd, York, M9N 1X7) Saturday, February 25. Visitation will be at 12 pm with the service at 1:30 pm. All are invited to attend as we remember our friend Marjorie.

Sunday's sermon on connecting to each other has been especially poignant for me. My church family has supported me so richly after my recent fall. I have been humbled and amazed at the gifts of friendship expressed -- the practical encouragement of cards, meals,calls, texts, visits and laughter. The gift of friendship is incalculable. It reinforces God's love and faithfulness.

Quiz-Meet Prayer Request
The RAC quizzing team will have their third quiz-meet on March 4 in Belleville. Please pray for safe travel, for great connections with the wider quizzing community and most importantly, for the lives of the quizzers and leaders to be impacted by what they are learning about God and the early church. As we learn we have been tracking on a map where and how the Word of God spread and how the early church grew. It has been inspiring to see the obedience and courage of the first disciples and believers. (Keep an eye out for our fundraising efforts later in March!)
