Harvest Party Thanks
On behalf of the 2022 Harvest Party Committee and Pastoral Staff, we thank our Church family for your participation, partnership and donations which made this event possible and memorable for many families in our faith and local community. The evening brought in over 250 families! 260 loot bags were assembled with your donated candies, chocolates, chips and toothbrushes. We are also thankful to all our community sponsors who partnered with us. It was the 60+ volunteers (adults and youth) including the pastoral staff who made this event run smoothly and safely. It was a such a blessing to see a mix of so many people under the same roof, having fun together. Our mission: "Connecting Rexdale to Jesus and his mission" was activated this evening because you made it all possible! A heartfelt thank you to all those who worked behind the scenes!

Young Adults Gathering on Saturday
On Sat, Nov 5 there will be a cozy Young Adults gathering offsite at the Benjamin home in Bolton. We will be getting together to talk about the Job series and have an honest discussion about dealing with grief and losses. Free Scholarship Workshop
Grades 11, 12 and high school graduates, along with their parents, are invited to a free Scholarship Workshop on Nov 18 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. here at RAC. This is a hands-on, in-person seminar where we will break down the steps to completing scholarship applications. We will have teachers, guidance counsellors, and recent post-secondary graduates available to discuss and support in the scholarship application process. There will be a question & answer period at the end. Don't forget to sign up for the workshop HERE.

Youth - Alpha Refresh
Youth are meeting on November 11 & 25. As usual, Youth happens from 7-9 PM on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month! Students in Grades 6-12 are welcome. We will be continuing our Youth Alpha series and joining other churches in the area! Stay tuned to our Youth newsletter because the location will be rotating. The Praxis
The Praxis is starting up again on Sunday mornings, beginning Nov 13 at 8 a.m. in the Welcome Centre. We would like to extend a warm welcome to those considering joining our group of apprentices of Jesus who want to practice spiritual transformation into Christlikeness together. We will be focusing on the 'Cycle of Grace'. We will have coffee and muffins, too! Hosted by Lynnette Missiuna. For more information please contact: lynnette.missiuna@gmail.com.

Women's Evening Bible Study
There are open spots for 3-4 women to join a Women’s Bible Study over Zoom, hosted by Ruth Cairns on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Our first meeting is on Nov 14. We will be studying "Gideon", by Priscilla Shier. The workbooks are $15 and may be ordered through Cheryl Guinness: cguinness@rexdalealliance.ca. Praise from Malawi
Paul LaRocque is currently in Malawi, hosted by Scott and Lorilee MacLean. Paul is sharing his "Faith and Science" talks, helping students, teachers and pastors understand how Christian faith and science are compatible. He is doing so in the context of discussions on "our Christian worldview" alongside local pastors. The seminars are happening in four locations around Malawi. Scott and Lorilee reported that some participants shared how glad they are to meet a real scientist who is also a follower of Christ!

Baby Dedication

Sunday Service
